1、知识目标:
(1)能识读运用单词chicken, orange juice, tea.
(2)能掌握运用句型:What do you want to eat? I want a hamburger. What do you want to drink? Milk,please.进行对话交流。
(3)学唱歌曲: What do you want to eat?
2、能力目标:能口头运用How much is it?这类语句询问物品价格,并能口头运用It’s ten yuan.这类语句回答。
3、情感目标:在交流中体验学习英语的乐趣,培养学生大胆开口说英语的能力,提高学生学习英语的积极性。

教学过程:
Step 1. 创设情境,精彩导入
1.Greetings.
2. Review Unit 1.(key words and sentences)
3. Ask several students to come to the blackboard to describe the kinds of the food that they want to eat.
Step 2. 利用资源,学习新知
1.Teach the new words in different ways: restaurant, menu
Then let Ss remember the words in their own small groups.
2.Text
T: Last lesson we learned that how to be a waiter or waitress in a restaurant and ask the customers what they want to eat. let’s listen to the E-pen. Then please tell me what Lingling and her Dad
want to eat and drink.
3 .Listen to the E-pen again and repeat.
4.Practice drills:
A:What do you want to eat?
B:I want to eat...
A:What do you want to drink?
B:I want to drink...
5.Make a dialogue .(Activity2)
T: Welcome to my restaurant.
Can I help you?
What do you want to eat?
S: I want...
T: What do you want to drink?

Step 3. 梯次练习,规范到位
Finish Activity3 of Page6 in the textbook.
A:What do you want to eat?
B:I want a hamburger and a hot dog. How much is it?
A:It’s five dollars and seventy-five cents, please.
Step 4. 使用语言,交流巩固
Look Activity5. Work in groups. Look at the example:
S1: What do you want?
S2:I want a hot dog.
S3:I want a hot dog, too. And I want some noodles.
S4:I want a hot dog and some noodles, too. And I want some vegetables.
Step 5 .内化实践,检查回顾
Make a menu ,then make a dialogue by acting waiter(waitress)and customer in a fast food restaurant.(创设情景)
Step 6. Homework
1. 发一个调查表,调查家人或同学想吃些或喝些什么?使用“What do you want…?”和 “I want…”句型进行问答,把获得的信息填入表格,进行统计分析,然后向全班汇报。
2. 用所学的句型在快餐店中点餐。
