Then check the answers together. ‎ ‎3．Let students roleplay the conversation in pairs. ‎ Step 5 Language points(详见课堂互动探究及PPT课件)‎ in front of; across; How can I help you; It's across from…； Is there…around here Step 6 Exercises (详见PPT)‎ Step 7 Homework ‎1．用今天所学的介词(near, next to, in front of, behind, between…and…)来写五个句子，描述一下你生活中常见的地方的位置。‎ ‎2．Make conversations like the one in 2d.‎ Step 1 Warmingup and leadin ‎1．Brainstorming: ‎ 4‎ Write down the words as many as possible about places and place prepositions (Two minutes)．‎ ‎2．Ask some pairs to roleplay the conversation in 2d. ‎ Step 2 Grammar focus and revision ‎1．Read Grammar Focus and understand the meanings of the sentences.‎ ‎2．Reading tasks: there be 句型和where 引导的特殊疑问句用来询问“……在哪里？”‎ ‎3．探究乐园探究学习there be句型。‎ ‎(1)“there be 句型”表示的是“某处有(存在)某人或某物”，其句式结构：‎ ‎①There be (is, are)＋名词＋地点状语．‎ 否定句：There isn't/aren't…‎ 一般疑问句：Is/Are＋主语＋…？‎ 肯定回答：Yes, there is/are.‎ 否定回答：No, there isn't/aren't. ‎ ‎②there be 句型中的主谓一致原则。‎ there be句型中be动词的形式要和其后面的主语在人称和数上保持一致。‎ 如果句子的主语是单数可数名词，或是不可数名词，be动词用“is”。‎ 如果句子的主语是可数名词复数，be动词就用“are”。 ‎ 如果有两个或两个以上的名词作主语，be动词要和最靠近它的那个主语在数上保持一致，也就是我们常说的“就近原则”。‎ ‎4．Give students six more minutes to try to remember the sentences.‎ Step 3 Practice Work on 3a.‎ ‎1．Look at 3a. Pay attention to the questions in the box. Ask students to read them out aloud.‎ Look at the map and answer the questions.‎ ‎(1)Where's the bank?‎ ‎____________________________________‎ ‎(2)Is there a restaurant on North Street?‎ ‎____________________________________‎ ‎(3)Where's the pay phone?‎ ‎____________________________________‎ ‎(4)Where's the post office?‎ ‎____________________________________‎ ‎(5)Is there a hospital near the pay phone? ‎ ‎____________________________________‎ ‎[答案] (1)It's on New Street./It's between the hospital and the post office.‎ ‎(2)Yes, there is.‎ ‎(3)It's on North Street, next to the police station.‎ ‎(4)It's on New Street, next to the bank.‎ ‎(5)No, there isn't.‎ ‎2．Check the answers.‎ Work on 3b.‎ ‎1．Look at 3b. Ask the students to pay attention to the map in 3a and write three 4‎ ‎ sentences.‎ ‎2．Ask some students to show their sentences.‎ Step 4 Guessing game ‎(1)Ask the students to look at the picture in 1a on page 43. ‎ ‎(2)Then ask them to name all the buildings in the picture. ‎ ‎(3)Have the students work in groups. ‎ ‎(4)One person chooses a building in the picture in 1a, but doesn't tell anyone which building it is.
