【答案】 As the above diaries show, nowadays, when meeting difficulties with their
homework, some students turn to the Internet for answers while others try to solve them by
themselves.
From my point of view, we students should not copy answers directly on the Internet when
doing homework. On the one hand, since we always settle the troubles by searching for solutions
online, we tend to become very lazy and don't bother to think up answers independently, which
would hold back the development of creative thinking. Besides, if we depend heavily on the
Internet for answers, we may lose not only the ability to solve problems but also the interest in
study. On the other hand, the answers online may be inaccurate or wrong. If we use them without
thinking, we may make serious mistakes.

Young Chinese parents embracing e-books for children
Chinese children are spending more time reading digital books as young parents are
increasingly open to the idea, research shows.
The amount of time children under 9 spend reading e-books every day increased almost 20
percent to 24. 3 minutes between 2016 and 2017, according to a joint study by e-book company
Kada Story and teaching consultancy TAL Education Group.
A three-year study of 6, 030 parents found that almost 70 percent said they are willing to let
their children use mobile phones and tablets, while 25 percent of those born in the 1990s or later

Parents in first-tier cities are more likely to let their children use mobile devices, with
children in Beijing spending almost 70 minutes a day using the gadgets.
“Digital reading is an important skill for children to master in this age of information
explosion, ” said Wang Jing, chief editor of Kada Story.
However, not all parents want their children to read digitally.
“I fear e-books will negatively affect my son’s attention span or expose him to inappropriate
content, ” said Xie Wenfeng, mother of a 7-year-old boy in Shanghai.
She said she believed books in print are better for the eyes and do not affect sleep. “I also
worry about possible addiction to e-books.” she added.

Personally, I’m in favor of it. Compared to books in print, e-books have more advantages.

Social practice has been more and more popular in schools. Senior school students are asked

career. Secondly, students can apply what they have learned in class to practical work, thus

Social practice enriches students’ social experience, put their knowledge into practice and
rewards them with money. However, it may affect their studies. Therefore, students should
balance their studies and social practice.
Undoubtedly, social practice benefits students in many ways. Through social practice they
learn what they can’t learn in class. Gradually they will become strong-willed, and enthusiastic in
study and life.
Two years ago, I organized a team of classmates to a Charity House where we told stories to

There are many factors accounting for this phenomenon. First, in contemporary society
parents are facing more stress from living and work than before, so they have to spend most of
their time making money. In addition, parents today are more easily distracted by various
electronic products when keeping their children company.
Take my own experience for example. Once upon a time, I got into trouble in my studies. It
was my parents’ company and comfort that had a great effect on my regaining self-confidence.
Plain and peaceful as it was, this experience left an unforgettable impression on me, which is of
