Was it a big city then? 那时它是一个大城市吗？知识点 2 该句型用来询问某事物过去是否具有某种特征考向：句型结构：Was it a/an + 表示事物特征的形容词+ 名词 + 其他？肯定回答： Yes，it was. 否定回答： No，it wasn’t. 例句： —Was it a small park then ？它过去是一个小公园吗？ —Yes， it was. 是的，它是。 A: Was it fat? B: No，it wasn’t. It was thin. thin? tall? naughty? young? 含be 动词的一般过去时的基本句型小结知识点 3 (1)肯定句：主语+ was/were + 其他. 例句： The doctors were in the hospital then. 那时医生们在医院。例句：主语+ was/were+not + 其他.
