课前预习 根据汉语提示完成下列句子，每空一词。

1. at school 在上学，在求学，school 前不加冠词，如果加冠词则成了在学校里，如：
He is at school in Beijing.他在北京上学。
He teaches English at a school in Beijing.他在北京的一所学校里教英语。
2. look at…看……，常见短语有：look for 寻找，look after 照料，look like 看着像，look up
仰视；查找（单词），look out 向外看；当心。
3. work hard 努力工作；努力学习，此处的 work 是动词，表示“工作”；“干活”， work
也可以作名词“工作；劳动”。试比较：
work hard 努力工作，苦干，用功（work 是动词，hard 是副词）
hard work 辛勤的劳动，艰苦的工作（work 是名词，hard 是形容词）
4. swimming n. 游泳，go swimming 去游泳，其动词形式是 swim.如：
Can you swim ? 你会游泳吗？ swim 也可作名词，“游泳”。have a swim 游泳，swimmer
游泳者，游泳运动员，swimsuit （女）游泳衣
5. funny 是形容词，表示“有趣的”；“好笑的”；“滑稽的”，其名词形式是 fun 表示“玩
笑；玩乐；嬉戏”。H ave fun.玩的高兴
6. He is helpful. 相当于 He is ready to help others. 她乐于助人。
