一、教学目标
1. 能够灵活运用句型 What are they doing? They are doing sth. What is it doing? It’s doing sth.
2. 能够正确使用现在进行时询问和回答他人正在进行什么活动。
二、教学重点及难点
1. 重点：学生在真实情景中能够灵活运用重点句型 What are they doing? They are doing sth.
What is it doing? It’s doing sth.
2. 难点：用英语准确询问和回答他人正在进行的活动，注意人称代词和动词的搭配。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
Look, complete and review
T: Before we start our new lesson, let’s look at five pictures and complete the sentences one by
one so as to review what we learned last lesson.
逐一呈现五张图片，让学生结合图片，说出相应的词组，并完成句子，从而复习上一课时学
过的词组和句型。
设计意图：通过游戏的方式，活跃课堂气氛，复习巩固上一课时学过的词组和句型。
Step 2 Presentation
1. Listen and learn
T: Well done! Now let’s listen to a dialogue.
播放 Part A Let’s talk 音频，请学生感知对话内容。
设计意图：通过看、听等途径，感知对话内容。
2. Look and learn
T: Next let’s learn some new sentences.
接下来我们学习现在进行时的特殊疑问句。
教师板书句型。
What are they doing? They’re …
What is he / she doing? He / She’s …
What are you doing? I am …
句型中的注意事项：
be 动词为 am 时，代词用 I；
be 动词为 is 时，代词用 he / she / it；
be 动词为 are 时，代词用 they / you / we。
设计意图：利用音频和课件，讲授本课重点句型，帮助学生牢记。
3. Listen and answer
播放 Part A Let’s talk 音频，让学生回答问题。最后核对答案。
(1) What are the pandas doing?
They’re eating lunch.
(2) What’s the little monkey doing?
It’s playing with its mother.
(2) What’s the elephant doing?
It’s drinking water.
(4) What do the pandas like?
They like bamboo.
T: Now you’ve got to listen and answer the questions.
4. Learn new words
学生回答完问题老师讲解单词 its 和 bamboo。
设计意图：通过问答练习，巩固本课的重点句型，加深对对话的理解。
5. Listen and follow
播放 Part A Let’s talk 音频，让学生听音跟读。
T: Now you’ve got to listen and follow. Pay much attention to the pronunciation.
设计意图：引导学生通过看、听、说等途径来感知并巩固对话内容。
Step 3 Practice
1. Play in roles
教师让学生同桌两人一组，分角色朗读课文。
T: Now let’s play in roles.
设计意图：在练习运用本课重点句型的同时，锻炼了学生的综合语言运用能力。
2. Choose and say
教师出示两组词，一组由“代词 +be 动词”构成，另一组由动词词组构成。然后将学生分
成五人一组，学生依次起来在两组词中各选一个，并组成一句话说，如：I am reading a book.
T: Please look at the two groups of words. Please choose and say.
设计意图：通过情境创设帮助学生再次巩固本课的重点句型。
3. Listen and tick
（1）教师展示听前活动，让学生读句子，选图片，为听力活动做准备。
（2）教师播放 Part A Let’s try 音频，请学生边听音，边看课本 Let’s try 的图片，并在正确的
图片的方框里打对勾。
T: Look at the pictures. Please listen carefully and tick the right one.
设计意图：通过听音打对勾，再次巩固了本课的重点句型。
4. Look, guess and say
教师出示被遮盖住一部分的图片，请学生两人一组，一名学生运用句型 What’s he / she doing?
提问，另一名学生用 He’s / She’s … 进行猜测。猜对的多的学生老师给予奖励。
设计意图：通过游戏，复习巩固本课的重点句型，在欢快的课堂气氛中结束本课时。
5. Test
T: Now it’s time for you to take a test to check how you’ve learned.
完成随堂检测。

At last, let’s summarize the key points of this lesson.

pron. + be + v.-ing.
be 动词为 am 时，代词用 I；
be 动词为 is 时，代词用 he / she / it；
