Now more than 7 million people have watched a
video on China Daily’s Sina Weibo account(账号). It’s about
Xiong Linghao, a girl from Mianyang, Sichuan. She is a blind
girl. She played a Beethoven sonata(奏鸣曲) in the national
finals of the 13th Shanghai International Youth Piano Competition in August, 2020.
Xiong couldn’t see because of a medical accident(医疗事故). She was very interested in
music when she was young. At the age of 3, she could play children’s songs on a small electric
piano(电子琴). At age 6, she started learning the piano. “The piano is my best friend,” said
Xiong. “It brings so much pleasure into my life and tells me not to give up.”

with one hand, and then I could play with both hands together. I had to play it again and again
