Situation:
There is a dialogue between a boy and a
girl. They didn’t use ellipsis in their
language. Now, in groups, use what we
have learnt to omit the unnecessary part
to make the dialogue as brief as possible.
And then act it out in groups.
Boy: You look there!
Girl: What do you want me to look at?
Boy: I want you to look at the girl who is
in red.
Girl: Is there anything special about her?
Boy: She is so beautiful that I can’t believe
my eyes.
Girl: I don’t think she is that beautiful.
(staring at the girl…)
Boy: Really?
Girl: Er…
Boy: You are jealous (嫉妒) ! Don’t you want
to be so beautiful?
Girl: Every girl wants to be so beautiful.
Boy: Wow, she is more beautiful while she
