The key is yellow.
◆这是一个陈述句,用来叙述一件物品的颜色。它
的顺序与汉语句子的顺序差不多,即: 主语+动词+
其他。
The key(主语)is(动词)yellow(表语)。
英语句子中系动词后面的叫表语,表示主语的情况。
◆在英语中名词的前面需要用冠词。a/an是不
定冠词,表示“一”,泛指或第一次提到一个物品。
the叫定冠词,表示“这,那,这些,那些”,特指某个人
或物品。
The ruler is blue.尺子是蓝色的。(指的是图片中
的那把尺子,不是其他的尺子。)
That is a cup. The cup is red.那是一个茶杯。(那
个)茶杯是红色的。
