1. cut意为“切, 割”, 过去式为cut。
Language points
• cut up 动副短语,意为“切碎”, 当其后接名词作宾
语时, 宾语放在短语中间或后面皆可。
• 动副短语后接代词作宾语时, 只能放在短语中间。
e.g. Cut up the bananas. = Cut the bananas up.
把香蕉切碎。
e.g. Wash an onion and cut it up.
洗一个洋葱, 并把它切碎。
拓 展:
• cut sth. into ... “把某物分割成……”
e.g. He cut the bread into four slices.
他把面包切成四片。
• cut down “砍倒”
