Preview the words on Page53－54 in the words list. Students read the words by phonetic symbols, then underline new words in 2b and mark the Chinese meaning.

▲hundred, thousand(千)，million(百万)
表示不确切的数目时，在词尾加s，且和of连用，如：hundreds of, thousands of, millions of 分别表示“数百”，“数千”，“数百万”。当这些词有数词或several，some等修饰词时则不加s，也不跟介词of连用，直接跟名，如：some hundred, several thousand；three million。

Task 2: First discuss and check the answers of Task 2 in groups，use different reading methods to understand the text，then translate the key sentences. At last，write them on the blackboard.
