Learning action tips：
Preview the words in word list on Page52 read the words by phonetic symbols, then underline new words and mark the Chinese meaning in the text. At last finish the tasks in 1a and 1b.
【知识链接】
1．辨析across与cross
二者都有“穿过”之意，主要表示在物体表面上横穿，如横过马路、过桥、过河等。但across是介词，cross是动词，cross＝go across。
【导练】
用cross和across填空。
(1)They usually cross the street carefully.
(2)They usually walk across the street carefully.
【拓展】
cross当名词用是“十字架，十字形饰物”的意思；动词cross的名词形式crossing，意为“十字路口”，如：
turn right at the second crossing 在第二个十字路口右转

3．I can summarize.(我会总结)
(1)一般将来时：表示将来要发生的动作或存在的状态。常与将来的时间状语连用，如：tomorrow, next week, in the future, in 100 years等。 谓语构成：will＋动词原形。
(2)一般现在时：表示经常性的事情，经常性的动作或一般性事实。常与时间状语often, usually, always, every, sometimes连用。
(3)一般过去时：表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态。常和表示过去的时间状语连用，如：last year, yesterday等；也可表示过去经常反复发生的动作，常和often，always等频率副词连用构成动词过去式。
交流展示 生成新知
Preshow：Show in groups. (Time：six minutes)
Task 1：First read the words and phrases in groups，then read together and sum up the usage of the words in groups，mark the difficult words in pronunciation and understanding(students can ask teacher for help)．At last，write them on the blackboard.
Task 3：First discuss and check the answers of Task 3 in groups, then play the role as Joe to talk about the past，now and the future in groups，talk something about themselves and act out the dialogues. At last，write them on the blackboard.
Promotion show：Class show. (Time：sixteen minutes)
Task 1：1.I can read.(1)Read together；(2)Consolidate the words by translating and spelling.
