教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)重点词汇 big, tall, pretty, thin, short, handsome, new
(2)重点句型 What does he/she look like? He/ She is tall. I have a friend. She is a
girl.
2. 能力目标:
(1)培养学生用简单的英语描述一个人的外貌特征。
(2)在实际情景中培养学生熟练使用句型 What does he/she look like? He/ She
is tall.
3. 情感、策略、文化等目标:
通过已学知识导入新知,通过歌谣、图片、多媒体和游戏增强学生的英语学
习兴趣,突出学生的主体性,为学生学习英语打下良好的基础的同时,提高其语
言运用能力,加强对学生综合素质的培养,特别是培养学生良好的温故而知新的
学习习惯和自主学习意识,以及学好英语,服务大众的意识,从而为学生终身发
展奠定良好的基础。

教学过程
Step1: Lead in
利用英文课本第三单元(20 页)上节课所学的 A Look, listen and chant. 导入本课,激发
学生兴趣。
He is big and he is tall.
He is handsome, too.
He’s a great boy.
I’m great, too.
She is short and she is thin.
She is pretty, too.
She’s a nice girl.
I’m nice, too.
Step2 Presentation
⑴引导学生观察图片并回答问题。 (指图片中斌斌)
T:Look at the boy. Who is he?
.T: What does he look like? Big or thin?
T: Yes. He is Big. (指图片中斌斌的爸爸)
T:Look at the man. Who is he?
T: Yes. He is Binbin’s father. What does he look like? Tall or short?
T: Yes. He is tall.
⑵听录音并大声朗读,然后回答问题。使用“学乐师生”APP 录音,分享给同学。
T: 根据上下文猜猜 What does he look like?什么意思?
T: Binbin has a new classmate. What does he look like?
T: 那老师想问她( 出示 Joy 的照片)长什么样?怎么说呢?
T: Good! She is pretty.
⑶分角色朗读

Step3 Practice
1)老师引导学生对自己的语文老师、数学老师、美术老师、体育老师、音乐老师等的
外貌特征进行提问和回答。
T: Look at the picture. (语文老师)I have a friend. She is a woman. What does she look
like?
Ss: She is pretty.
T: Who’s she?
Ss: She is Ms Quan.
2) 老师只介绍人物,由分开的两组学生进行问答来猜测学生自己的老师。使用“学乐
师生”APP 记录,分享给同学。
T: Now, I have another friend. (数学老师)
Ss(1 和 2 组): Boy or girl?
Ss(3, 4 和 5 组): A boy.
Ss(1 和 2 组): What does he look like?
Ss(3, 4 和 5 组): He is tall and handsome.
T: Who is he?
Ss: He is Mr. Zhao.
3)引导学生小组练习 (Guess and say 四人一组)
S1:I have a friend.
S2: Boy or girl?
S1: A girl.
S3: What does she look like?
S1: She is tall and thin. Who is she?
S234:She is Joy.
Step4 Summary
1. 能够听懂、会说有关询问和回答人物外貌特征的功能句:What does he /she look

2. 通过猜谜游戏操练并巩固本课的功能句。
3. 通过绘制并口头介绍好朋友的活动,学会用几句连贯的话来介绍人物信息。
Step 5 Homework
1.Listen and read the dialogue.
