3. Grammar: Talk about the past and the present.
Teaching important points: The difference between the past
tense and the present tense
Teaching difficult points: Talk about the past and the present.
Teaching aids: Tape-recorder, word cards, pictures
Teaching demands: The students should read the new words and lessons
for five times,it can help the students understand the text.
Teaching procedures:
1.Greetings each other.
2.Duty report.
3.Show title and stick it on the blackboard.
4.Pupils chant part 1 together.
5.Speak “past form”of some verbs one by one,then read them
together.
6.Ask:What did he/she do yesterday? Pupils answer them.
7.Listen and read after it.
8.Let pupils read and underline the most important
sentences ,then read them twice.
9.Pupils speak ,teacher sticks these sentences on the
blackboard.
10.Teacher and pupils read the text together.
11. Boys and girls read it,boys read paragraph1 and girls read
paragraph2,then exchange.
12.Talk about these pictures to use “Five years ago”and
“Now” .
13.Fill in the blanks with right words ,according to the
text ,then read it together.
14.Answer the following questions.
15.Practise .choose the best answer and say the reason.
16.Let pupils try to write about a famous person and tell the
class about him or her.
17.Summary and Homework.
18.Say “Good bye!”
