Ⅰ.教学目标:

Step 1: Warm up and lead in.
1. Greetings: Say hello to each other.
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, teacher.
T: How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And how are you?
T: I’m fine, too. Thank you.
2.T: Ok, boys and girls, do you like animals?
Ss: Yes.
T: Now I have a song about animals for you. Let’s enjoy it together.

【设计意图】选择与课文主体部分相关的歌谣作为热身环节,不但有效的调动课堂气氛,更主要的是能直接切入文本。
3. T: Boys and girls, do you like playing games?

3. T: Boys and girls, do you know more about pandas? Let’s read it together.(PPT展示)
Pandas live in the south of China. They are mild.(温顺的) They love bamboo. Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They can eat 40 pounds of bamboo every day. They can climb up the trees. There are only about 1,000 pandas living in the wild.(进行简单讲解)
T:So we should love pandas and love the animals.(情感教育)

2. Read the sentences in your favourite ways.

教学反思:
为了让学生在本课学习中能更灵活自如地表达对动物习性及各种特征的了解,我设计了各种不同的教学活动,让学生在一系列轻松有趣的活动中,感受英语,享受英语,并很好地掌握语言知识。“谈论你所喜欢的动物”这一任务的设计更是激发了学生的学习热情,满足了他们的表现欲望,在体验和合作中增强了英语学习的信心。
在本课教学中,我根据学生的年龄特点和英语掌握情况,设计了一些活动,取得了较好的成效。
导入部分“猜动物”使学生的积极性很快就被调动起来,很快就导出了本单元的新授。学生在教师的引导下能听懂会说本课的对话,了解不同动物的生活习性,主要句型的运用也在任务实施过程中得到很好的运用。通过小组读对话、chant、谈论动物等活动,很好地体现了小组合作学习,学生在愉快的氛围中学会了知识。
