M8U1 What do you suggest?
Ⅰ. 教学目标
1、知识目标
掌握并熟练运用本课重点句型What do you suggest? What about…? Why don’t you…?How about…?
2、能力目标
1）学会如何给别人提建议；
2）通过创设情景，综合运用所学语言进行交流，培养学生在实际生活中综合运用语言的交际能力和对语言的应变能力。
3、情感目标
学习如何给别人提建议,通过对事物的比较表达自己的看法，激发互帮互的爱心。
Ⅱ. 教学重难点
1、教学重点：掌握并熟练运用本课重点句型What do you suggest? What about…? Why don’t you…?How about…?
2、教学难点：在真实的情境中运用重点句型进行口语交际。

Ⅳ. 教学过程
1、热身复习
师生之间自由交流“Good morning, boys and girls.How are you? What day is today? What's the weather like today?"
2创设活动，导入新课
a) T: Boys and girls, I haveone question. Look, I have fifty yuan.Look at the screen, what can I buy? (学生看大屏幕。大屏幕显示足球20.5元，铅笔盒 5元， 书12元，电子游戏机100元，龙风筝23.5元)
T: Look. You can say How abouta football? What about a book? Now, discuss in boys and girls. Let's compete. (引导学生用大屏幕呈现的三个句型回答。男女生比赛看那组说出的答案多）
S: How about a football? Whatabout a book? （学生看着课件，计算着价钱，自由讨论。）
b)有的学生指着龙风筝问老师该如何用英语表达，教师趁机教授本课新词 Chinese dragon kite
c) 男女生比赛说答案，登山，看哪组给出的答案最多，最早登到山顶。学生每说出一种答案，教师就用That's great! That's a goodidea! I agree. Thank you! 回答。(每说一种，大屏幕呈现一种, 大量使用本课重点句型进行操练）
总有一组最早登到山顶，让他们派代表快速上台领红旗。这时获胜组学生非常兴奋。教师趁机教授本课新词 quickly, excited。
最后T: Thank you for your suggestions. Thisclass, we'll learn how to make suggestions.
3、课文学习.
1）T: We know Daming is going to go to America this summer. Whatpresent will he take? Let's see Sam's suggestions.
T: Listen and answer thequestion:
_____ is on the phone for Sam.
2）T: listen again and find out Sam's suggestions.听完后，学生说，教师板书
What do you suggest?
Whatabout chopsticks? He's gotchopsticks.
Whydon't you give him a kite? That's agood idea!
Whatkind of kite?
Howabout a dragon kite? I agree.Thank you!

3）T: Let’spractice in pairs. (学生看着板书内容，进行重点句型的操练）

师生灵活运用本课句型进行交际问答。
S: What about a football/ abook/ a cake/ a bird kite?
T: He's got one. His Dad willbuy him one. The dragon kite is too long for him. The fish kite is too smallfor him. The bird kite is very good.
任务运用2
T: Next month, Sam and Amy willcome to China to see Beijing Olympic.
I want to make some food forthem. What do you suggest? Now practice in groups. (四人一组，看着大屏幕呈现的食品及句型，进行交际问答）
运用任务3
组织学生完成课堂活动用书第一单元练习2。
5、Homework.
1) Make a dialogue in roles.
2) Make or draw a dragon kite.
