一、句子结构:
1. 形容词比较级常用的句型结构 (A和B比较)：
A + be动词+形容词的比较级+than +B
e.g. I’m taller than you.
You are thinner than me.
This ruler is longer than that one.

2. 副词比较级常用的句型结构：
“A + 动词 + 副词比较级 + than + B”。
e.g.
I got up earlier than my mother this morning.

1. 单音节和少数双音节形容词、副词比
较级的构成。不规则变化：
1) 在词尾加-er
tall — taller smart—smarter
short — shorter high — higher
fast — faster
二、形容词、副词比较级的变化规则:
2) 以不发音的字母e 结尾的，加 -r
nice — nicer large — larger
fine — finer late — later
3)重读闭音节以一个辅音字母结尾的，先
双写辅音字母，再加-er。
big — bigger fat — fatter
thin — thinner red — redder
hot — hotter wet— wetter
4)以辅音字母+y结尾的双音节词，先改y为i
，再加-er。

5)多音节词和部分双音节词要在前面加

比较级有规律, 词尾加上-er两兄弟;
要是以e来结尾, 只有小二(r)跟上去;
重读闭音节词要牢记, 双写千万别忘记;
要是“辅音+y”来结尾, 小艾(i)要把y来替,
再加-er两兄弟;
多音节词加上m-o-r-e, 你看这样多容易。

一、句型:

表示修饰的两种东西的程度是一样的。
否定句：
Lily is not so/as tall as Mary.
莉莉不如玛丽高。(莉莉比玛丽矮。)
Tara doesn’t work so/as hard as Tina.
Tara 工作不如Tina努力。
(Tina 工作比Tara 更努力。)
not as / so … as … 不如、比不上… …
表示前者不如、比不上后者。
二、句子结构:
1. 形容词同级比较常用的句型结构 (A和B比较)：
A + be动词+ as +形容词的原级 + as +B
e.g. She is as quiet as you.
You are as thin as your sister.
This ruler is as long as that one.
(以as…as为例)
2. 副词同级比较常用的句型结构 (A和B比较)：
A + 动词+ as +副词的原级 + as +B
e.g. Peter runs as slowly as Tony.
