3. glance vi. look quickly at (sb./sth.) n. a quick look

stare at 盯着看;凝视
glare at 瞪着眼看;怒目而视;怒视
1) She glanced shyly at the young fellow from behind.

4. decrease vt.&vi. become smaller or fewer;diminish;reduce
