Section A shows that students ask the names of some things ,then ask the things’ colors. The first class of this unit introduces the key words about colors ,such as red ,yellow ,green , blue ,black ,white ,purple and brown , and the target language “-What’s this?-It’s V.-What color is it?-It’s red.” in 1a. 三、Learning Analysis: For the students of Grade Seven ,they have had some basic knowledge of English in primary school, they also have had some abilities of how to use language knowledge. On the basis of this, the students can easily get interested in the discussion which has a close link with their life .四、Studying Aims 1、Key Vocabulary:red ,yellow ,green , blue ,black ,white ,purple and brown 2、Key Sentences:--What’s this?--It’s…--What color is it?--It’s +颜色五、Studying Key Points:1)Be able to read the colors and know the meaning of the key words.2)learn to ask things and their colors .六、Studying Difficult Points: Be able to ask things and their colors.七、Studying ProceduresStep1 leading-in Read the words of this unit first ,then according to a game to remember the words and their meanings.Step2 Presentation Show students some colors ,ask them to speak out the colors together ,and practice the new words again and again ,then read the words together. At the same time ,write the structure--What’s this?--It’s… --What color is it?--It’s +颜色 on the blackboard.Step3 Finish 1a Ask students to finish 1a for 1 minutes, later check the answers one by one.Step4 Finish 1bAsk students to listen to the tape , for the first time , just listen . And then listen again and repeat, later teach them to read the conversations again and again.Step5 pair work1.Show students some pictures and ask them: --What’s this?--It’s V.--What color is it?--It’s red.Make conversations like this with their partners by the pictures on the screen ,then let them to act out two minutes later. 2.Challenge myself.Combine the structures together they have learned before. Show them a picture and ask “--What’s this in English?--It’s a key.--Spell it, please.--K-E-Y.--What color is it?--It’s +yellow ”Let students make more conversations like this by using the pictures on the blackboard. 3.More knowledge.Green , Brown , and White are not only colors but also can be used as family name.Step 6 ExercisesAsk students to do some exercises together to check themselves. Step 7 Consolidation Let students to sum up what they learned in this class.Step 8 Homework.
