❶worry的用法
Don’tworryaboutChinese.不要担心中文。(P8)
1.worry的常用短语为worry about sb./sth.,意为“为某人/某事担心”。例如:
Don’t worry about me.不要为我担心。
They are worrying about the coming test.他们正在为即将到来的考试担心。
2.worry还可作名词,意为“烦恼;忧虑”。例如:
She has no worry at all.她没有一点儿烦恼。
3.worried为worry的形容词形式,意为“烦恼的;焦虑的;担忧的”。be worried about与worry about同义。be worried about侧重状态,worry about强调动作,有时两者可以通用。例如:
Don’t worry/be worried about John.He’ll be back soon.不必为约翰担忧,他很快就会回来。❷teach的用法

1.teach用作及物动词,后可接双宾语,即teach sb.sth.,意为“教某人某事”。teach sb.to do sth.意为“教某人做某事”。
2.teacher是teach的名词形式,意为“教师”。例如:
Mr Smith is our English teacher and he teaches us English.史密斯先生是我们的英语老师,他教我们英语。
❸promise的用法

1.promise to do sth.意为“承诺/保证做某事”。例如:

I promise to go there on time.我保证按时到那儿。
2.promise sb.to do sth.意为“答应某人做某事”。例如:
He promises me to tell me a story after school.他答应我放学后给我讲一个故事。
3.promise sth.to sb.=promise sb.sth.,意为“答应把某物给某人”。例如:
She promised the toy to me.=She promised me the toy.她答应把那个玩具给我。
4.promise sb.+that从句,意为“答应某人……”。例如:
He promises me that he won’t be late again.他答应我不会再迟到了。
❹fit的用法
I’mreallyfitandhealthy.我真的很健康。(P10)
fit为形容词,在句中常作表语,与healthy同义,但fit不能作定语。keep fit/healthy意为“保持健康”,例如:
He often has fruit and vegetables to keep fit.为了保持健康,他经常吃水果和蔬菜。
❺begoodat的用法
ButI’mreallygoodatfootball,andI
play basketball in the school team.但我十分擅长踢足球,并且还在校队打篮球。(P10)
be good at 意为“在……方面做得好;擅长”,at后接“在某方面”,其后可接名词、代词或动名词,同义短语为do well in。例如:
Kate is good at playing the piano.凯特擅长弹钢琴。
