Lesson 3：The Sun Is Rising
教学目标：
1. 学习词汇：melt, hillside, wind, gentle；
2. 合成词的巩固与学习。
教学重点：合成词的学习。
教学过程：
1、 Play the song “The Sun Is Rising”.学生跟唱。
2、 师： “Do you like the song?”
“What’s the weather like in spring?’
“How about the temperature?”
“How do you feel about the air?”
学生回答问题，并试着用英语描述春天的景象。
3、单词学习
a . melt 出示图片。师：“The weather is warm in spring. So the snow is
melting.” 学生猜测单词意思，教师板书 melt
b. wind → windy(教师做口吹的动作)
c. gently →gentle（指导学生轻轻地触摸自己的手）
d. hillside → hill+side（教师出示 hill 图片加 side 图片组成新的图片，
让学生猜测新图片的意思）
学生寻找单词构成规律，教师总结。
总结完成之后，教师采用头脑风暴的活动，多媒体出示天气符号，利用板书
引导学生复习有关天气的词汇，构成词汇网。加深学生的记忆。

4、教师引导学生说出以前学过的合成词，并要求找出课文中其他合成词；
5、最后通过独立完成书中练习 let’s do it 3。巩固本课所学有关合成词的知
识。
